A stylish art deco era smartly rendered original gouache illustration painting created as Raleigh Cigarettes advertising. A flirty idealized modern couple spark up more than a conversation with a prominently featured cigarette. This work of some of the George Petty stylized advertising illustrations for “Acme Beer” and “Chesterfield Cigarettes” of the same era. Nicely matted and framed in an art deco period gesso handsome wood frame.

A defining huge original charcoal on board of a divine bathing beauty in a smart, streamlined art deco style by the American Illustrator McClelland Barclay. Model looks to be Gracie Allen and this was most likely used in the General Motors Body by Fisher Advertising campaign for which Barclay is fondly remembered. Work is a defining example by this talented and prolific artist and beautifully matted and framed.

A winsome and exceedingly scarce original cover illustration for an as of yet un-identified Spicy Pulp Magazine . Looks alot like the creations of Peter Driben and she is costumed like an Enoch Bolles Film Fun girl . Painting is artist signed, a fresh estate find and really a definitive example of this highly collected American Art genre.

A rare early example of an Enoch Bolles spicy cover girl; a winsome flapper girl sunning in a sheer bikini. This was used as cover art for a Spicy Pulp publication, most likely Breezy Stories or Stolen Sweets. Like most of Enoch Bolles’ paintings it is unsigned. This is guaranteed to be an original work by this heralded pin-up legend. Call or e-mail for a condition report.

A highly stylized, art deco original etching in the manner of Rockwell Kent, Lynd Ward, and other period art deco artists. Image is evocotive and surreal in form; notice the female nude form in the background. Artwork is unsigned and retains original frame and blue velvet matting which shows some staining but appears original to etching and is still quite charming as seen.
