A large and dramatic interior illustration by Walt Louderback for an American Slick magazine such as Collier’s or The Saturday Evening Post.

An impressionist style, colorful and free flowing view of a delightful young red headed girl depicted against a backdrop of cyprus trees and a flat bottomed boat.

Louderback was a member of The Society of American Illustrators, he exhibited at The Hoosier Salon; Indiana as well as The Art Institute of Chicago.

His existing illustration works are quite scarce and the auction record for the artist is $16,875 plus commission fees. The painting has been relined and is in very fine bright condition with fine ornate frame.
