This original oil painting of a hauntingly pretty blue-eyed lass is a stunning example by noted American illustrator and fine artist, Charles Allan Winter. Winter studied in France and Italy, we are really fans, his oils have a unique, peculiar, haunting quality.

The artist illustrated Roycrofter Hubbard’s ‘Little Sermons’ in Cosmopolitan magazine, his work was often featured in Hubbard’s The Fra Magazine, and his style and aesthetic was popular within the Arts & Crafts movement. This would be a great fit in an American Arts & Crafts/Bungalow environment.
