A boudoir themed pin-up girl original oil painting by Irving Winer from the art deco era, this shows a curvy brunette offering a leg show moment in her stylish dressing area with an electric cobalt blue circular mirror framing the image above her shoulder. The artist was active creating covers for the girlie magazine titles of the 1940s such as Titter, Wink and Beauty Parade. His work also appeared in the calendar art world, he created numerous published pin-up images usually signed with the single word “Wyner”. He later moved to California and found work in Hollywood working as an animator and set decorator. Painting is handsomely framed in a very nice contemporary gallery frame and ready to enjoy.
