A stunning original oil painting inspired by The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam by noted illustrator and fine artist, Charles Allen Winter.

Included with this painting is a delightful February 1923 issue of Shadowland Magazine-Expressing the Arts. This artist’s work is featured in a full page color plate on page 9 of this publication.

The caption states, “Winter has studied in France and Italy but remains an individualist. We have no other painter in America with his peculiar, haunting treatment.” Retains original gesso wooden period frame.
