A very rare, one-of-a-kind, hand tinted James Arthur / Arthur Studios gelatin silver photograph. A risque art nouveau, belle epoque era interior scene with 3 flirty voluptuous beauties playing cards. Arthur Studio specialized in commercial calendar art illustration using a mixed media technique of photography and paints. They also created one of a kind hand tinted decorative art presentations such as this exquisite surviving masterwork. This retains its elaborate shadow box styled original gold gilt plaster frame and walnut wood outer frame box.
