We are offering a defining gothic, macabre, Art Nouveau period decorative masterwork. A large original early-1900s bronze snake form lamp with marble base and 2 original marked Quezal art glass shades. An exemplatory example that is dark and gothic in composition and clearly the work of a master metalworker. It is similar in style to free standing snake themed floor lamps By Edgar Brandt and could be a piece of Brandt's early work. Has silk wrapped cloth cord and original on/off switch on the back. A unique and timeless antique original treasure that is in a fine state of preservation.
