A large and rare cast bronze and emerald green art glass figural trumpet vase, dated 1928. A pair of graceful nudes in the Frankart style.
Unlike Frankart, which cast their metalware from spelter metal, this is solid bronze and of a higher quality and distinction. Original glass insert and untouched patina make this a particularly rare and high quality example of the "Jazz Age"/"Roaring 20's" decorative fine arts.
The piece has a dated foundry mark, but I cannot make out the text. I will send any interested buyers a very large and clear jpeg of the mark to help with their research.
