An original oil painting by Earl Moran for the Brown & Bigelow Calendar Company used as a March 1947 calendar girl with caption that read "My teacher says I'm quite advanced - For one so young in years. And that the answers that I know - Should vanish all my fears." This image also appeared as a mutoscope card under the title "He saw right though my little scheme." The vast majority of Earl Moran pin up works for Brown & Bigelow were executed in pastel, and the few oil paintings that have turned up in recent years have commanded very good prices as many collectors prefer the medium. This example is particularly exciting, as it has never previously been on the market, and retains the original frame. An original calendar page, mutoscope card, and advertising notebook of "... My little scheme" are included in the sale.
